Waiting is NEVER easy!
I told you a few weeks ago about our laundry room construction...
well, waiting on a very busy handyman to get here in about a week.
A week is a lllllooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggg time....
So, while you are waiting along with me...read my post HERE where I "air my dirty laundry!"
Here is something like I have planned...using some furniture I already have.
I think we can make this work on a budget!!!
While I am wwwwwaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnggggg for the contractor to get here
(a week away) I wanted to stain our cement floor in our master bedroom.
Check out my master plan for our room HERE?
This is the color I want...and I hope there are some cracks and knicks in the cement...CHARACTER!
Our master bedroom floor project really hinges on the laundry room being done first...we have no where
to put our furniture that is not in a filthy, dusty area in this BUSY time of year around the dairy.
I guess I will WAIT!!!!!
(I really am praying for patience...but, when I have an idea...Lord, help me!)
So....I was thinking of another BIG project to start in the meantime. (Really, Julie??)
Our girl's bathroom is funky, vintage pink tile..halfway up the walls!!! (Yes, up the walls!)
Something very similar to this (though, this is NOT my actual bathroom.)
I have had the cabinets in there white...done with that.
Here is another example... (this is NOT my actual bathroom either.)
The bathroom cabinets in my bathroom are black right now. I was trying to play up the very
girly pink and black...blah! Over that now.
I just can't think of a nice color for the cabinets...gray??
Here are my choices:
1. Gray cabinets and leave the pink tile with maroon trim?
2. Repaint the cabinets black with the pink tile?
3. Paint the cabinets white again?
4. Paint the tile...white...to lighten up and make the bathroom feel bigger??
Can you tell I am at a loss on ideas for this project???
HELP!! Any ideas???
I have read about painting tile...prepping properly and painting the actual tile.
But, I will admit...I am a little afraid?!?!
Afraid it will scratch, knick...and not the good kind that adds character.
I guess the only way to find out is to try it???
This one may end up with a really good tutorial post on "How To Paint Pink Bathroom Tile."
OR...you may NEVER hear me speak of this pink bathroom again.
Time will tell....now, you will be WAITING!!
Happy Mother's Day to ALL the moms. Whether you are a mom, an aunt, love your neighbor's kid as your own...you are LOVED!!
